I use very specific equipment in a very specific way – all of which I will list, mostly all to do with recording the highest quality sound on as little money as possible. I have been home recording music for about 10 years now (mostly drums, vox, guitar and bass): I use various techniques and equipment and recently I have been recording every week. I’ve probably invested thousands in musical equipment over the years but my CURRENT recording equipment doesn’t total more than a few hundred quid.
So hopefully, this blog will add insight, practical knowledge and discussion to a community of musicians and amateur audio technicians (such as myself) and we’ll be all the better for it!
